As you reflect on this session, respond to the following questions:

  1. Why is it important to understand that Jesus is the Creator of all things? What does this reveal about His character and power? If we miss this aspect of who He is, what might we miss in terms of our praise and worship of Him?
  2. What have you seen in the created order that leads you to think of the creative agency of Jesus who made all things that exist?
  3. What does it mean to you to know that Jesus is the Ruler over all things? How does your life reflect the truth that Jesus is Lord?
  4. What are some of the effects of not believing that Jesus is the Ruler over all things?
  5. Reflect on your own experience of being reconciled to God through Jesus. Who was instrumental in leading you to know your need and to point you to Jesus as the remedy?
